Do you need to take a course that meets the requirements for an ECE-Assistant Certificate? Would you like to take additional courses towards an ECE certificate?
VIU is offering 6 introductory ECEC courses that also incorporate Aboriginal Head Start principles and guidelines over 16 months. These courses are part-time and offered online and via Zoom conferencing.

When the Registration Centre confirms that you have been admitted, you will be advised of when and how to register and pay for your courses. We regret that enrolment in this program is limited. Not every student who meets or exceeds the minimum admission requirements will necessarily be admitted to the program.

- General admission requirements apply.
- English 12 with a minimum “C” grade, or equivalent.
Start Date
The program starts in September 2019. New applicants are accepted for Fall 2020.
